Agent readiness
Prepare this Cintesa project so other AI systems can find, read, and call the public site.
Last updated on
Agent readiness is how you prepare the project for other AI systems — assistants and crawlers that read the public site. It is not the visitor conversation. What visitors see in chat still comes from Agent Instructions and answers from your content.
Open General → Agent Readiness. Fill Identity and Project Profile first (business name, contact email, brand voice, and a project subdomain). Most readiness fields are optional — leave them blank to inherit the project profile.
Agent readiness is not a sixth workflow step. You can configure it after General is saved.
What you publish
The project compiles three public files from your settings:
| File | Purpose |
|---|---|
llms.txt | A short project summary plus public links other AI systems should read |
agents.txt | Who this project’s visitor agent is, how to contact you, and where documented tools live |
ai.txt | Your defaults for training, summarization, and indexing |
Those files live on the Cintesa project URL (the hosted visitor site, and a custom domain once it is attached). An embed on another website does not publish them on that host — configure readiness here, then share the Cintesa project URLs. Public files stay unreachable while Project active is off or the site is Under construction — see Project management.
ai.txt is advisory. Some crawlers ignore it.
You need a project subdomain under General → Identity before Compiled previews appear.
Configure
- Open General → Agent Readiness.
- Optional: add a short llms.txt intro — one brand paragraph. Do not paste a full file or section headers the compiler already writes (Agent surfaces, Legal, Funnels, Discovery).
- Optional: add llms.txt link sections for extra public pages. Each saved row needs a title, an
httpsURL, and one factual sentence. Use pages anyone can open without signing in. Skip dashboard or signed URLs. A row with any blank field is ignored. - Optional: override the agents.txt description, contact email, or footer note when the generated defaults are not enough. Contact email inherits from Project Profile when blank.
- Optional: set AI policy defaults (training, summarization, indexing → Allow or Deny).
- Click Save agent readiness.
- Open Compiled previews and read
llms.txtandagents.txt.
If the dashboard warns that the intro contains duplicate section headers, shorten it to a brand paragraph and save again. The compiler already strips those duplicates.
Agent API token
Use Rotate agent token only if an external system will call this project’s documented tools. The new token is shown once. Do not put tokens, secrets, or personal data in the footer note.
After you save
Spot-check the live llms.txt and agents.txt on the visitor URL. Then publish Agent Instructions and Preview so human visitors and other AI systems see the same project.
